In 2015, I worked on the branding for Coovum Art Festival under the art direction of Vidisha Saini. Coovum Art Festival was a public art and outreach project that lead people to the banks of Coovum river, to take ownership and celebrate the river and water through art. The bilingual custom-lettered logo plays on the idea of absences — a reference to the Coovum river that has all but disappeared from Chennai.
